Beauty Cheapy Quickies

Especially for the on the go multi-taskers, quick beauty perk me up's are a must. This is an ongoing list of  tips and suggestions...I have so many tips I will try to keep this page as organized as I can for you.

#1 Dry Chapped Lips a problem... Exfoliate with a mature of sugar and olive oil, for soft moist lips. Combine the mixture to your desire thickness...keep in mind runny will be messy so go easy on the olive oil. Just apply it to the lips and either brush your lips using a soft toothbrush. Or rub your lips together as if you are applying lipstick. Once you are confident you have sloth off all the rough dead skin, wipe the lips with a clean warm face clothe to remove any excess product and residue. Add shea butter or your lip balm to re-add moisture.

#2 Natural Nails Yellowing... Rub your nails and cuticle bed with a lemon wedge and soak your fingernails in peroxide for about 10 mins. This combination helps whiten your natural nails. Rinse and follow up with a cuticle message with your fav cuticle oil.

#3 Also piggybacking off the above...baking soda and peroxide are great for keeping your teeth from staining.

#4 Eyebrows need a touch up, no time to get it done... Hide renegade eyebrow hairs with your concealer. Using your pinkie finger or concealer brush trace the outer and inner bone structure of your brow with concealer. Then line the outer shape of your brow shape, and fill in with powder or a fine pencil.

#5 Rough dry feet...slather petroleum jelly over your feet before bedtime, feel free to massage your feet:0) Cover with a cotton sock and leave on over night. Wake up to much softer none ashy feet.

#6 Humidity of the day has your skin and make-up looking blah! In a 3oz bottle mix: 1 pt witchhazel, 3 drops glycerin, and 2 pt purified water. Shake well and spritz over face, dab with oil absorbent tissues.

#7 Out of oil absorbent tissues...use a*new* toilet seat cover tissue. Its thin so it won't smudge your make-up, but the tissue will lift the oil from your face surface.

#8 Have a "time of month blemish" use pure lemon juice with baking soda on the area in circular motions. The baking soda will gently remove dead skin cells for rejuvenation and the lemon juice lightens the dark spot. If you start the application while its a pimple you won't get a blemish after the pimple is gone.
